Anka Martin is a world class enduro racer who has raced the world cup DH circuit and has represented South Africa at the DH world championships. Anka has won the Transprovence multi stage enduro race and competed on the EWS circuit for several years. That tells you a bit about how Anka rides but Anka is also an adventurer, traveling the world with her bike and offering fantastic mountain bike trips in New Zealand with her husband and photographer Sven Martin. This year Anka has launched her Soul Trips, a series of mountain biking holidays around the world where she which she will offer in partnership with 3 selected mountain bike holiday companies. We are really honoured that she has chosen basqueMTB to be one of those companies.
These trips are womens only holidays, guided by Anka and Doug and supported by our vans. We will ride 6 days during the week with Anka helping to fine tune your riding. After riding Anka will offer yoga classes in the garden of our accommodation with big views out over the Basque Coast. The yoga will help you recover and also help improve your biking.
This first trip will run from the 16th – 23rd of July and the details are below.
- Price will be €1450
- 6 days of uplifted guiding with Anka there to make sure you enjoy the riding and learn something.
- We will include a wine tour, a visit to the spa and two evening meals.
- 7 nights accommodation in our Hondarribia accommodation and breakfasts are included.
- Daily yoga classes with Anka.
- Places limited to 6 guests
